Responsibilities of the DAS State Personnel
Affirmative Action and Diversity Office
|
This
office is responsible for the following:
- Coordinate, direct, and implement the Affirmative
Action program,
- Promulgate rules and regulations,
- Provide counseling and technical assistance to
agencies for the development of their Affirmative
Action plans,
- Review and approve agency's Affirmative Action
plans,
- Investigate any complaints involving unfair
treatment, and
- Conduct affirmative action training in equal
employment opportunity.
