Commodity Contracts can now be identified by inquiring on
a Commodity Code. When searching on a commodity code, the
system will indicate if a contract exists for that particular
item. Please refer to the Work Instructions for Inquiring
on Commodity Codes in the NIS Training Manuals for more
information. More details on how to use this new functionality
will be presented at the October 19 Statewide Procurement
User Group meeting.
Third party contracts such as Office Depot, Grainger, Thompsons,
etc. are not identified as they would have multiple NIGP codes
associated with their contracts. Future enhancements will
identify these contracts for you. |
