| In the near future, the Deviation Request for Services
will become paperless within NIS! With the implementation
of the Deviation Request (O8 document type) comes the ability
to enter information specific to the Service that you want
to procure. Once approved through the Department of Administrative
Services, you will be able to generate a Service Contract
or Exempt Requisition (Z6) from the Deviation Request.

In preparation for the Deviation Request, agencies must identify
the end users who will have the ability to enter or work with
the document in NIS. Once end users are identified, they will
need to have an approval route set up within the system for
the Deviation Request (O8). This can be set up via the IMS
Help Desk. A standard approval route for an end user will
be:
| Dollar Level |
