• Name, Address, and Phone Numbers

• Requesting a Verification of Employment Letter

Manager Self Service

The Manager Self Service web-based training (WBT) provides supervisors and managers an opportunity for self-study regarding:

• Introduction to Manager Self Service
• Supervisor Time Entry Approval

Phase 1 of Manager Self Service highlights the tasks that are essential for a manager or supervisor when an agency uses Employee Self Service - Time Entry. Phase 1 does not contain lessons on all of the functions of Manager Self Service. Benefits Open Enrollment Web Based Training

Description:
State Employee's go through a Benefits Open enrollment event once a year to elect benefits for the upcoming year. Employee's will complete the Benefits Open Enrollment event through Employee Self Service (ESS) on NIS. The Benefits Open Enrollment web-based training (WBT) provides employees an opportunity to "practice," or step through, the process of selecting Bnefit elections for the upcoming year.

Description:
This web-based training (WBT) presents the basic skills required by all Nebraska Information System (NIS) users. In this course, you will become familiar with the NIS software as well as:

• learn how to navigate through the system using NIS menus
• understand how to log on and off NIS
• become familiar with NIS forms and grids and
• learn about the basic features and functionality of NIS.
