Statutory Authority
The establishment and authority of the Print Shop falls
under State Statute 81-1118(3) which states in part:
The Print Shop shall be responsible for specifications and for
receiving bids and placing orders to the lowest and best commercial bidder for
all printing and reproduction operations for the state. The Print Shop
shall also be responsible for coordinating all existing printing and
reproduction operations of the state.
The establishment and authority of Copy Services fall under
State Statute 81-1118(4) which states:
Copy services shall be responsible for the purchasing and
placement of all copier requirements.
and State Statute 81-1118.03(2) which states in part:
The Department of Administrative Services shall be the sole and
final authority on purchases and leases of personal property by a using agency.
