AS General Counsel

 

	Provide legal support, advice, consultation and representation to all divisions of the department
	Review, write, and promulgate rules and regulations
	Review all contracts, leases, and other agreements in place for the department
	Review draft contracts for assumed liability and responsibility of the parties; recommend language to protect the State of Nebraska
	Represent the Department at administrative hearings
	Assist in pretrial preparation in suits involving the department
	Assist in the work of the State Claims Board
